Whoa! Are these for REAL?! OOOOHH YESH they definitely are. They are cosplayers.
Cosplaying is definitely an incredibly addicting hobby, whether you’re just watching or participating in it. I know, I know… some people think that it is an unusual hobby of choice, but how many of us in this world—even for a spilt second—have wanted to be someone else even for a short, okay, very short period of time? Someone whom we think is outta-this-world, over-the-top awesome and outrageously effortlessly cool? (I may be overdoing it, ne? haha). Not everyone gets to make it on the big screen, ya know. For a wannabe like me, I thank god the almighty everyday for the quirky people who came up with cosplaying… (thaaaank you! XOXO)
Just look at those AAAHHH-MAZE-ZA-ZINNGGG costumes that they came up with. Jeeezus H.! Aren’t they just something else!??
Is cosplaying easy? HELL NO! Cosplaying is no child’s play! It’s totally different from impersonating other real-life people. Come to think of it, for some cases, a cosplayer has to bring to life— as faithfully as possible, mind you— a fictional character with qualities beyond anything humanly possible! It takes talent, passion, and lots and lots of guts to do that! Oh yesh! And if a cosplayer does pull it off, MAHN!, it just takes your breath away! Nothing short of overwhelming….GARRRR!!!!
You’d go like “OH MY GHAD! Is that dit-dit-dit from dit-dit-dit?!” or like “OOHH!! AHH!! WOW!!!” (words wouldn’t be enough anymore.. hahaha), then, you’d take out your cam, then click-click here and click-click there and the photos end up in friendster, myspace, or multiply (haha). If that were me, I’d throw myself all over that cosplayer and monopolize him/her for as long as I can hold back the other oglers (You have been warned! Bwahahaha..)
It’s like the world becomes totally different. It evokes different inexplicable emotions and memories in you and time just stops! The only thing that matters for that moment IS that moment. I don’t think that a person has to be a fanatic to appreciate a really good cosplay. And if a person doesn’t, bring the bigot forward so that I can wring the bastard’s neck… ngiyahaha…

Oh! AND! The best part of all of these is cosplay is gaining strength in our local scene! Ya-hohoho!!! And MAHN do our local cosplayers RRRRRROCK! Behold!
